Warning all canadian businesses of this scam before they continue to make money from hardworking business owners like myself.

I was contacted sometime ago regarding a "online listing" that I aparently aquired on this site. The call was very professional and friendly, so I figured i'd go ahead and purchase for 1 YEAR, which is what I was told in the begginging.

I paid for my lsiting, received no traffic from this horrible site see for yourself, it's a joke www.411businesscanada.com, when I was contacted again I told them that I was not renewing for another year, that I paid my balance and I wished to no longer be listed on the site. The representative, Louis or len( couldn't tell they talk so fast) told me that once I paid another 799 dollars than my account would be closed. What???? Argued back and fourth where I told him I paid using my credit card, and I wasn't renewing, this listing didn't help my business, and i was going to be paying another 800 for something that is crap. He told me this was the "second invoice that closed out my account." But I never agreed to a second invoice, I only agreed to the first, which I paid for. So than I get call after call from 2 different people claiming to be from credit/collections department and aniother invoice out to my email.

What they didn't know is i was recording every call and voicemail they left me, joke is on these guys, there's already an investigation ungoing about this bad business practice, and trying to scam people even more money after they pay already.

I hope this reaches many businesses, so you are not tricked into this in the firsdt place to have them call you again and again and again trying to weesel your har earned money for a product which is complete GARBAGE. No one visits this site, they make it seems no nice and friendly, if you go on and search you cant find anything--so they are really ripping people off, not providing a solid product for extensive investments, and than trying to bill and bill companies to make themselves rich.

I googled this and it is just a mailbox. if you call the num ber they give 8558555939 youd be lucky to talk to someone like i did and the guy told me they have an office in NF, i called as a "person interested in advertising" so i could get mnore info about these scumbags.

I was tricked into thinking this was something I had always advertised with without checking with my bookeeper, but realized my mistake after I paid for this. Called my visa company and got my money back. I suggest anyone else dealing with thses pricks to do the same!
