In October of 2002 I accepted a job as a security officer wtih Aero Investigations, Owner Rick L. Young, in February of 03 I filed a grievance with Wage and Hour for refusing to pay me earned overtime. In April of 03 I hired on with 1st Security Services, owner Michael L. Grant. In June of 06 Rick Young bought into 1st Security.

Immediately they began altering payscale to hide income and cheat the IRS. Employees without drivers licenses were being given mileage reimbursment. Bounced payroll checks started in August. In April of 06 my partner and I were involved in an incident that resulted in serious injury to my partner. Arrests and convictions were made. To date no payment has been made to my partner.

Grant/Young and Everett Williams, (their GM/QA who has solicitations convictions a violation of ORC Code) fired my partner in Oct. for demanding the company pay his workers comp. When alterations to paychecks began, improper deductions and withholdings started. The company did not pay Dayton City tax nor school tax. How they chose to deduct federal taxes is confusing. What I do know is my accountant was shocked at the low witholdings.

In August of 06 I was contacted by DPS and informed that my license to carry a firearm had expired in Jan 06 and had not been renewed. I had been carrying a firearm on post illegally. I allowed the company 30 days to file for me they did not, I quit on Oct. 3, 06.

My resignation was accepted on the 6th however Williams informed Dept. of Family Services that not only had they not received my resignation but no resignation from my partner. Funny, he was fired by Williams on the 2nd. To date, Young, a convicted arsonist, who served time for this crime, has been in workers comp court, tax court and civil court annually. Check Montgomery County Pro One online and see for yourself. How the state allows him to continue to destroy lives, lie, cheat on taxes, etc is beyond me.

If a person writes a bad check we have consequences, Grant and Young do not. No resolution to the almost $4,000 in bounced payroll checks has occured. I feel for their current employees and their families. Not to mention the futures of those who had planned to enter Police force employment. What Young and Grant have done to their futures is criminal. But the state allows them to continue to destroy lives.
