I sent a request to usedpartscentral.com for a  1997 IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) for a Lincoln Mark Viii. This to update the suspension in my classic Ford truck.  this web site links to auto salvage yards around the country to save the hassle of contacting each yard separately. I received responses from several yards regarding this part  . I received response from William (Billy) Clift. I chose to purchase the part from 4UR parts because the car the parts came from had low mileage. The first conversation I had with Billy I told him about the project that I was working on and

I told him exactly what I was doing I also sent him a picture of the part I wanted along with a link to a website that shows how to install the part in a classic truck, On or about Jan 4th 2013  the body shop received part of of the the suspension. The body shop and I figured the rest of the parts would come later that day or the next because sometime parts come in different shipments. After I few days of waiting I called William back to inquire about the parts. Here said that there should have been two boxes I then told him that the first shipment didn’t come in a box and that I was just shrink wrapped

Over the next couple of months Billy and I traded emails and calls about the status of the parts. I heard everything from he is waiting to get a reimbursement back from the shipping company to he was going to have to pay for the extra shipping out of his own pocket, to the owner would call me back when he got back into town.I never received a call from the owner.  Also on three different occasions he ask me to send him a picture of the part please see pages.  Also on 2 different occasions 1/17/13 page 6 and  2/19/13 page 10 Billy said that the parts would be going out. Also on 3 different occasions  2/7/13, 2/19/13 2:46pm and 2/19/13 2:50pm Billy said that he would pay for the part himself.

Eventually I heard from Billy again tell me this it was going to cost more money and I told him that if I did not have the part or a partial refund by 3/1 I would file a report with the Secretary of state.  At this point Billy turned me over to his manager. I eventually talk to the manager I told him my story and he communicated to me that I got what I ordered because of the way they inventoried their parts.. I then tried to show him that I send pictures and that I did not get what I ordered and he has not responded to me. I ended ordering the part from a different yard and the description was listed as 1997 Mark viii rear axle assembly
