I called Customer Service to check availability of Sony DSC-T70 digital camera though it was advertised as 'In stock' and 'usually ships in 24 hours.' After waiting on-hold for about 10 minutes, the agent finally picked-up the phone. When I asked my question, he said something unclear and just hung up on me. I was really frustrated and called back immediately, asking to connect me with Customer Service supervisor. When I explained about my complain about the agent, supervisor replied that he is not responsible for agent's actions, and everyone does whatever they want (though the message says that all calls are monitored for quality purposes). It was my worst experience with the merchant. What a waste of time!

If all you lost was a bit of time, you are fortunate. What they do is advertise cameras and other items for a very low price. Someone makes an order and they are required to make a "confirmation call". While on the phone, the customer is offered the opportunity to buy the battery that came with the camera or the charger or a lens cap. These are all things that come with the camera but they piece it out and when you're done you end up paying more for the camera than it would have cost to get it at a legitimate store. If you try to refuse the additional purchases and only buy the camera, they will suddenly be out of inventory.
Even if you manage to get a camera body at the advertised price, it will be a gray market camera.
They also operate under a number of different names.
