9mm USA Clothing Online Model Search Scam to buy Merchandise. Internet Internet

I recently saw a post on an online classifieds page for models needed. I read the post which stated that 9mm usa was a new and upcoming clothing company that needed models to promote their hot new items. I was interested in this so, when it instructed me to go to their website, 9mmusa.com, and buy their clothing at a discounted price(if you were entering the model search) I did not hesitate. The clothing, although it was a little pricey, was cute and would be something that I could wear again even if I had no luck in the competition. So, on 9/26/07 I purchased two shirts that totaled $70.98 to be sent 3/5 day shipping. I received a confirmation email from the owner of the company that day. I waited about a week and when I did not receive anything stating that they had been shipped and it still showed pending on my account, I sent an email to the address that the confirmation came from on 10/3/2007. I did not get any response. I sent another thru the customer service section on the website on 10/8/07 and 10/14/07. Still no response. I had paid with paypal using my check card and the money had already been deducted from my account so, I filed a dispute with paypal for a non recieved item on 10/17/07. I also at that time sent a message to 9mmusa clothing myspace account of the owner informing him that I had filed this and just wanted my money back at this point. No response. Paypal allowed them until 10/26/2007 to respond and they did not. Paypal tried to pull the funds from their account and was unable to do so. They are currently still investigating and taking action against this company. I guess I lost out on the $70.98 . I am sure there are many other girls that this has happened to recently and I noticed the other day that they are still posting ads online for the model search that the deadline was 10/4/2007. I am going to be posting on these sites to warn all the other possible victims of this scam.
