After keeping our Vehicle for two (2) weeks for what should have been a one day repair, A-1 Transmissions of Ocala returned a vehicle with a non-functioning transmission still not shifting correctly and slipping/ neutralizing when the accelorator was pressed.
They also returned a brand new rebuilt transfer case that was leaking in their lot at the time they said it was ready for pick up and that alll repairs were made.
Daniel gave several stories about electrical programing and shortages that turned out to be false for this year and makee of vehicle.
The allegad work that was completed was substandard and the vehicle still had the same problems. The replacement parts were not rebuilt or new. All the work had to be removed and completed by a competent dealership with new factory parts. Materials that were alleged to be used in the repair were marked up more than 400% in some cases.
About $1,400.00 in parts and an original repair estimate of $3,700.00 came back as quoted repair price of $7,500.00 +/-.
