I recently recevied notification of a settlement proposal from A-1 Leasing, LLC. This settlement is not in the best interest of the consumers that were deceived into these leases. Read the settlement proeposal very carefully.

They are only going to give you three months credit which in my would be $539.00 that leave an estimate of 6, 000 that they still expect to receive for those fraudlent leases.

If you accept this settlement you will still be responsible to A-1 Leasing for the reminder of your payments.

If you read the contract closely you will see that they are not giving up their rights to any claims that they my have against you.

If you accept this settlement you cannot sue. The two choices that I am looking at are to either opt out or object. I am going to object and send in documentation supporting my objections to this settlement.

It would not be in my interest to cure the lease with A-1 Leasing because they will be getting $6,000 and only paying out $539.00.

I cannot afford this. If you do not nothing you are bound by the outcome of the proposed settlement. If you opt out you can sue, but you will have to pay an attorney which could lead to great expense, but you will not be bound by the judgement if it is approved.

If you object you will still be part of class action and will be bound by any judgement the court finds. Please read this notification very carefully before agreeing to the settlement, if you are not sure call a lawyer to get advice. I also understand that Startup Essentials has filed protection under bankruptcy and since A-1 Leasing paid Startup Essentials upfront for the leased equipment, they are getting the money back from us, the CONSUMER by this settlement proposal.

If this proposal is accepted by the court we the consumer are still being ripped off by A-1 Leasing, the bottom line for them is to get money anyway they can. Do the Math, if you can afford to cure your outstanding leases and are happy just receiving 3 month payment then agree and fill out the claim, but this is not fair to any of us, especially those on a fixed income.

We expected more, after all we were deceived into these contracts and they all should be null and void. With all the complaint that have been registered how can A-1 Leasing not know that Startup Essential wasn't a scam.

THIS IS NOT FAIR TO US THE CONSUMER!!!!
