This is where I'm at. They got me for approx. $500.00 before I kicked into gear. Went to bank, closed acct., (told bank what was up), next day they(Bond Corp.) got the $132.94 pymt. from closed acct. Went back to bank, filed an ACH form, (nothing yet), am waiting. The next pymt did not get paid. A-1 called, flat out said their hands tied and I'm bound(by agreement). O.K.....,So I pulled up every B.B.B. report filed on Startup E., A-1 Leasing, USA Card Srvs., etc... (over 100 reports and am mailing to them). Am also taking BBB reports to bank and requesting my $132 redeposited into my acct.l???WE'LL SEE.. Anyway, Should I, COULD I keep laptop since only thing to show for my $500.00 they did get??? Let me know what, if any, the consequences of that, Please. Well, Am off to bank. Will keep you posted. Thanks for listening and any feedback, answers or ideas, greatley appreciated. Sincerely, (a.k.a. fingers crossed in CA.)

The laptop

These people care nothing about that laptop selling for $600.00 in any radio shack. A so called lawyer of theirs said since I used the laptop it is worth nothing now and then rambled on about if it were a car. I almost fell asleep. They are going to sue no matter what so they make it sound.
I was lucky because I closed my bank account quickly. They got one payment out of $146.00. Funny how we all have different payments. But, now instead of $8000.00 for nothing they want to sue me for almost $14000.00. These people actually sleep at night and our courts are allowing them to sue people that are looking for a way to make a better life. It's just sinfull and evil.
Well, best of luck to the rest of you out there,it's over 100 count now.

Hi Danielle---
You responded to my complaint on here about USA Card Services/Ladco...whatever the hell they are called last year and I was never able to find you until now. How did the class action suit work out for you? Did you win on Order #number xx112?
My title was "USA Card Services Ripoff & Very Dishnoest to Elderly Man!" on 10/09/2006.
Please let me know how it went. I am curious to hear about what happened. As far as my grandfather is concerned, they sued him, they won. They put a lien on his house, very sad :-(
What a bunch of crooks!

I am another person who was contacted and signed up. this all took place in 2 phone calls and signed it online a first for me. All I know is I sent the computer back stopped payments at bank. I was lucky they had the wrong acct. so they couldn't get any money out of bank. But at the time I thought this was still a real business deal. Sent them a check for 2 months. I have not gotten any money back. But if there is a suit I'll be in. I also have a receipt or proof that they got the computer.

you said that you returned the equipment before the first payment was made. Have they sued you or turned it over to collections?

I was a victim too but I changed that...

I fell for their scam but something deep down told me to contact an attorney. My attorney suggested that I close out my bank account and get another one. I was then told to packup the laptop and to ship it to A1 Leasing in Michigan and that if I had any other hardware sent me thru this scam, to return it to them as well. I was fortunate enough to close out my account before the 1st payment was paid.

A-1 Leasing

Hello,
We are in the same boat! I too was scammed by these companies. I put a stop payment on my ACH withdrawals. They have called me several times and sent threatening letters. And I got a letter last week stating that they wanted $5000+ right away or they would turn me over to collections. And insisted that I send the computer back to them. I haven't sent the computer back yet but I will. They claimed that they ran a credit report on me in the beginning when they were seeing if I was worthly enough to be apart of there team. They told me that my credit score was something like 640 and it is not, I checked it not long ago and it is only 583. So that right there goes to show that they do not run credit on you. I just want someone to get them and stop them.
