A single mother of two, with a special needs child, I found it increasingly more difficult to persue a full time job. My son's needs required most of my attention.

Working from home sounded like the perfect solution. I answered an on-line add for becoming an internet merchant and was contacted be a man, Mr. Ghessemi, fron USA CARDS. He talked a great talk and through out the names Chase/ J.P Morgan.

That was the bait and the hook. How could that not be ligit? He gave me the usual song and dance and said he needed to put my info. in for approval.

Then I recieved a call back from a Bert Bader- Senior Analyst saying that I was approved and qualified to start. I was faxed a lease aggreement I could hardly read.

My story is much like the others. SMI was a faulty web site; stumbled upon a scam report; froze my account; never used the credit card machine and sent it back signature requested.

After seven payments were taken from my account, and it was frozen, they got P.O.ed and sent a collection agenct after me.
He threw numbers out at me but refused to fax me anything w/ this info. The next day I got them to send me documentation.

It was seven thousand more than what he said the day before. When I called him on it he said he didn't knoew where the first quote came from."It came from your mouth" I replied.

I was advise off the record by an attorney not deal with them directly- only through a lawyer. They didn't like that I wasn't taking their calls and sent me a threatening letter to retain a Michigan attornry. A week later I recieved a message on my answering machine from the collection agency saying that they have contacted a N.Y. lawyer on their behalf.

It's been a nightmare! I can't even get through to the local consumer complaint departments at the news stations. I would love to get a class action suit going. Anyone interested Lawyer or victim?

Lawyer Representing A-1 Leasing

AUTHOR: E.F. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, March 26, 2007

I too was told the same thing about JP Morgan.Chase. I received an letter from A-1 leasing's Attorney. Making threats and saying I owe thousands more than I actually do. When I stopped making payments in Novemeber 2006, I only owe a little over 3,000 in 4 months is it up to 8,056.16. The lawyer also said I would have to come to Michigan to court. I have never regretted anything in life but there is a first time for everything.

I am not just trying to get out of an obligation I do believe this is a scam and have seen and experienced first hand deception. I honestly thought I was getting more for the money. It turned out to be nothing that I could not get for free or at a much much lower price in the low hundreds not thousands.

Let me know how things are going I usually check the website once a week. You are right it is a nightmare. Also check under "USA Card Service" section and read the post.
