They were very friendly before they had our stuff, then, they wouldn't return phone calls (or only after calling them all day). We had to store our things in transit while our apartment was getting ready... They quoted us $150-300. We were actually charged $2200, and told we had to pay before they redelivered our things. A-1 Move Center, WHO ARRANGED THE STORAGE, blamed the storage place for charging too much. Funny, they both work for North American Van Lines. When we contacted North American, they defended the agent at A-1 Move Center (who at this time had changed his story completely once he realized he screwed-up). We filed a formal complaint through our lawyer, and are considering litigation. Needless to say, once these people have your stuff, customer service drops off dramatically.
