A-1 Leasing/Start UP Essentials Non-Cancelable lease RIP-OFF and lame tutorials for starting an on line business. Dallas, Grand Rapids, Michigan/Texas

I was contacted by Start UP Essentials about starting my own online business a fast talking high pressure salesman talked me into this system whereby I signed a 48 month non-cancelable lease for a laptop they sent me. I have not used the laptop and the tutorials from Start Up Essentials are vey lame. When I was talking to the salesman I specifically asked would I be dropped like a hot potato as soon as I signed up. I signed up because of the one on one coaching they were supposed to provide.

Now Start Up Essentials is out of business and coaching is not provided. Their website still exists but their phone is disconnected. Luckily I have not gone as fas as setting up a Merchant account which they would pile on more charges.

I called A-1 Leasing and they are not willing to cancel the lease. It doesn't matter that Start Up Essentials has been closed down. I want to find a way to get out of this lease. Has anyone been successful in terminating this lease? Closing my account does not seem like a good option because they can come after me and destroy my credit and pile on late fees ect.

Steps I've taken has been to file with the with the FTC and MI Attorney Generals office. Has anyone out there done anything different and been sucessful?
