A-2-B Moving & Storage Inc. Deceiving on qoute and don't care about your property Lakewood , Colorado

I had contacted A 2 B moving and requested a quote. I was told that it would take 4 - 6 hours at 89 dollars an hour to pack my whole home. I was guaranteed that it would only take one truck load to move from Littleton to Castle Rock. The movers arrived and loaded their truck. When the truck was half full they told me that they calculated wrong and it was going to take two trips. One of the movers broke the door on my washer machine and attempted to hide the fact that he broke it. My wife observed him drop the washer and use the door to catch it from falling to the ground. I ended up replacing the broken part of the washer machine.

I contacted A 2 B and informed them they told me that I would be contacted by their claims department, which their claims department never attempted to contact us. I also found scuffs and marks all over my new home walls. I also found that they dent my wood pillers in my home. I ended up getting charged for 7.5 hours rather then the 4 - 6 hours I was quoted. They also kept my 50 dollar deposit.  I observed one of the movers pick up my power washer and turn it upside down to carry even though the power washer had wheels. All the boxes were had neat and well defined labels on them and they payed the labels no mind and put them wherever.

I found kitchen and upstair labeled boxesin the basement and boxes just placed all over the house. They would not move certain items like a glass top kitchen table or mirror unless I paid them to use their shrink wrap to ship them. Basically, they would not move items unless I paid them to pack the items before they moved them. This was never mentioned on the phone when I explained what items I had that needed to be moved. I was told they would use quilts to move the items over the phone including glass and mirror items. Lastly, the movers forgot an outdoor patio set, after I had informed them that the outdoor table and chairs needed to go with us.

I ended up making two special trips and taking the patio set apart and moving it piece by piece, so what they tell you on the phone is not accurate. If you explain to them what needs to be moved they will tell you on the phone "yes we can do that", but when it comes down to it, they will charge you extra to pack the items with their materials. They will tell you its a liability for them if you don't let them pack items. I will never do business with this rip off company again nor do I recommend this company to anybody.
