A & A Associates-Tim Almand Hyla cleaning system ,water vacuum high pressure tactics, extremely too nice, didn't explain agreement completely, left the demonstration model ,NOT NEW-total finance $3,123.never got to use the FREE VACATION!! Tupelo, Mississippi

Some friends of ours gave our names and phone numbers as a referral for a Hyla sales person to come give a free home demonstration. We accepted with the promise of a free weekend vacation (lots of choices on pamplet) even if we chose not to purchase anything. The salesman told me on the phone that in order for him to come demonstrate both my husband and I had to be home while he was there.

 So when the day came we had forgotten that he was coming so K (my husband) was at work and I was home sick (vomiting). I let him know how I felt but he insisted it wouldn't take long. In actuallity, he was there over an hour. I was having to tell him to hold on while I ran to the bathroom to puke.

  Anyone that knows me knows that I don't like to tell people no or hurt thier feelings and he read that very quickly about me. When I agreed and he filled out my credit application, he borrowed my phone to call it in.

 After it was approved he asked me to give him my current vacuum that I'd been . That was one thing I refused to do, I told him I know people who would love to have it and I was giving it to them. In return, he said he was going to tell his boss that we didn't have a vacuum at all. He said their policy is that you have to give your old one to them. That was the most ridiculous thing I'd heard.

Then as he was packing up to leave, I expected him to bring in a new one, maybe in a box but no he left me the demonstration model that he had used no telling how many other times.

And also, we tried to use our "free" vacation on 5 different occasions leaving the option open to 4 destinations. We were always told there was nothing available and they tried to say they had openings in CA, South. FL, etc... All places that were entirely too far for us to go. This whole experience has been a huge nightmare!!! 

Within the past year that we've had it, the hose comes apart from the base and of course he said he'd send us a replacement but we've never seen it. My husband and I have contacted the owner/manager of A&A Associates several times throughout the year as well as the salesman and both give the run around with no answers.
