I filled out an secure online application for a loan. I received several calls and email responses. This call was to good to be true. A-1 Cash Advance Micheal Monthly and Loan Officer Amanda Stacy. They stated you're approved for $8,000 at $280 for 34 months. We have several clients willing to help people and you were chosen. But first we have to know we can trust you. I stated I had spinal surgery and I wasn't able to work for 4 years. Amanda said can you go to Walmart I said no! Well can you go to Best Buy. I said yes why. Amanda said I need to know you can be trusted. I want you to call me when you get there. Your bank should be calling you about the $8,000 that will be deposited into your account. When I arrived at Best Buy I called she said I deposited some money into your account for you to buy some STEAM Cards $200. each 3 was the limit at Best Buy and give me the numbers. After I realized what I'd done. I said let me call you back. I immediately called my bank me and the bank Representative started Googling STEAM Cards services phone number to stop payment on those cards. We found out you have to fill out a form online. www.steampowered.com/wallet/support Because they don't have a contact number. STEAM Cards are one of Valve Products No! contact numbers either. I called Amanda Stacy back and told her how uncomfortable I felt. She stated you still have $381. balance of the $981. she had deposited. She asked me can I go into Target and she deposit $2,000. and we'll continue until I have the $8,000. At this point I hated her I knew I was being scammed. I said let's wait until the eCheck my bank said you deposited clears. She started stuttering in her India voice okay. Next I spent my time writing emails to my bank, filed a petty cash report with a sheriff and I called the bank Fraud Dept. they said they will help me with plans to pay the bank back. And they will investigate as much as they can. Tonight I checked my account it overdraft $600. for the STEAM Cards and STEAM Support said the money was redeemed off cards within minutes of purchase. And they don't have any way of telling me any information about it. Filed an report and have the Officer email a subpoena to Valve Software. The Sheriff said that's impossible because the scammers change as information as soon as they're done.
