A Heffco Technologies Aka LGD Superstore Aka Hype Audio Aka Doniel Brooks company is a fraud lies does not contact you back takes your money and runs. Rip-off! Brooklyn New York

In June of 2004 we took out a loan to buy a hdtv the cheepist place that had the one we were looking for was Hype Audio we purchased the TV they took out the sum of 2,578.48 from our checking account.

We called several times to find out when the tv would arrive only to find out the tv we purchased the no longer carried they offered us a "better tv" to make up for the problem we did some checking on this "better tv" before we agreed on it only to find out it was actually cheeper than what they already took out for the other tv. After catching them on this they offer to throw in a cleaning kit and an extened warranty so then we agreed. We called several more times to find out when we would get our tv and was told that this better tv was now currantly out of stock but they could get this origanal one we were wanting again .

Around the middle of July our TV finally arrived however after we got it off the truck we noticed the box stated returned on it we opened the box only to find the tv was broke. Before the trucker left we called the company and spoke with MR. Brooks who apparently is the only person in the company who can handle cs issues Mr. Brooks told us we could refuse the tv put it back on the truck and then they would get a new one out in a few days but if we kept the brooken tv it would not be guarenteed that it would get fixed.

We put the Tv back on the truck at that time. It is now Oct. 11 2004 and we are with out a tv or refund we have spoke several times with Mr Brooks who fist told us we would see refund or tv in few day then after a month told us it could take 8-12 weeks and as of 10-5-04 he said we would have a refund in 2 days still nothing called him back friday 10-8-04 and conviently he was still waiting to here from the insurance I dont feel like we will ever see our money and if we do I can about bet it will not be the whole 2,578.48 I highly advise everyone to stay away from this company it is a scam.

They have not contacted us back, and when we call them we wait 5-30 min. for anyone to answear and are alway told we have to speak to Mr Brooks and he is either never there or busy. We have also contacted an attorney and the BBB of NY about this company Someone needs to do something we are a family of seven paying a loan payment for nothing.
