Approximately one week ago I went to the location of "The Second Look" consignment store only to find the place completely vacant and a lock on the door. There were several other people standing outside as I drove up and we were all stunned. On January 23rd, 2019 I dropped off about 30 items to sell and was given my drop off receipt.
They also still had many items that I previously dropped off on November 10, 2018 that hadn't yet sold. This store had a huge inventory of clothes, shoes, purses, art /pictures, household items, golf bags and sporting equiptment, etc. and none of us were ever notified!! One person outside told us that she heard that the rent had doubled and they couldn't afford to stay open.
Needless to say this is unethical and they took off with all of our items and all of the stores inventory.
