When A Team moving and storage arrived at my home in Cedar Hill Texas they were over 5 hours late. I was told I could leave and they assured me that all would be taken care of. They asked me to sign a blank sheet of paper just in case I went over on my inventory. I refused to sign the paper and they said that was ok. Two days later I get a call from Avi and said I had gone wya over and I owed them another $600. I said I wanted a complete list of what I went over, which I never received.

My belongings were in storage for approximately 2.5 months. I get a call from the driver who said I owed over $1700 when I owed only $900. I called and spoke with Avi and we went round and round. I called the governing bodies of the moving industry and with their instruction and my legal rights I called Avi back. By the end of our conversation he agreed to the orignal amount owed. When the movers arrived they took my money then informed me that they would not move by belongings up the stairs.

I said I would call the cops and insisted he stay until they arrived. I asked him if all of his moving helpers were legal to work in this country as I am sure the police officer who would arrive would aks for their identification. They then agreed to move all of my belongings up the stairs. They did not want to assemble my furniture and in the end I had missing items that were on the inventory list. I noticved my belongings had a bad odor and I was then informed in the same truck as were my belongings they had to transport a mattress that caught fire so that was the smell.

He then showed me the mattress. Then the next day I noticed they had dumped that mattress and all of their garbage in my dumpster, filling it up. I am unpacked and have lots of damages. Damage to furniture and glassware. I used glassware packs and did extra extra packing to avoid breakage. I had a solid heavy duty plastic floor fan that was shattered. I called A team Moving and Storage for their claims dept phone number and have gotten two calls back with two different phone numbers. Joy in the beginning was nice in the end she was wicked.
