A+ transmission specialist ripped me off big time- My car was in need of repairs so I called the company and spoke to the manager, Jamie Vall. He asked my permission to take the transmission out so that he could tell me what exactly needed to be done on my vehicle at the cost of $595.00.

I agreed. After calling me back. Jamie informed me that my car needed repairs in the amount or $2700, $3200 with 2 year warranty. By the way this was on a Friday morning, I told Jamie that I would have to get back after speaking with my husband to let him know how we would proceed.

After calling Jammie back on Friday morning, I informed him that i could not afford to pay that amount at this time and he suggested that I try financing the charges.

After going into the office to get financed he told me I was denied but I could try "In House" financing,as mu last option. I decided to go home to think on it, and told Jamie I would give him a call on Monday morning.

Over the weekend,my husband and decided to save and wait until we have the money in full before we got the car repaired, so Mnday morning I called to inform Jamie of this and this is where the ripoff begans.

Jamie informs me that my vehicle is already repaired and that I had to come up with the total cost in full and in cash or I could not get my vehicle back. After contacting the police department, the constable and a attorney, they all said the same thing.

That this company had no right holding my vehicle but it was a civil matter and I had to take them to court to get my car back and that I would be better of working out a payment plan.

After calling the company trying to speak to someone else who could help Jamie would always answer and give me some excuse about why I could not speak to his manager.

Finally after two weeks of calling Jamie agreed to $1800 down and a total of five payment to pay off the balance, in cash , even though there was no signed agreement and a sign in the front office stated that they accept checks, credit and debit cards.

And last but not least, after doing all that, my car was returned to me with a huge dent on the front drivers side.

So bascially as it turns out , I had no say in whether I wanted my car repaired by A+ transmission Specalists or not. They made that decision for me and slapped me with the bill.

Beware of these companies doing unethical things knowing that they could get away with it and all you could do is comply or loose your property.
