 Advice... Don't do it!!! Just don't. I went through DES and they told me that the only Health Insurance I was approved for was A1 being DES I trusted them so they transferred my call and set me up with A1. That's the last time I went right. Not only did A1 have me pay 207.00 for the initial insurance, as soon as I payed it something felt off and I decided I wanted it refunded. I called about 12x I was either being hung up on OR given the run around of why I couldn't drop the insurance(forcing me to have it)

I decided to wait a couple weeks before I'd call back and get a refund. While I was waiting those weeks A1 then pulled out 149.00 from my account. At this point I was furious so I called A1 to refund me ALL my money and drop the insurance. It took me about 10 hangups and an entire hour until I actually talked to someone. They then sent me to an insurance agenct Micael Tobias. Which then an agent forcefully told me "you can't drop your insurance and you have to keep it until December" then he hung up on me. Now I've had it, I called back and asked for the manager.

He was really helpful and was able to refund me the 149.00. However when I asked to get a refund on the 207.00 my phone call got transferred again, had to stay on hold for another 5min. All to find out A1 claims "the money can not be refund because I had inssurance for at least a month" so I said "I tried to cancel it but your customer service kept hanging up on me, so now that I'm being persistent about it you can't refund me?!" he then said "no, well not unless you can provide proof of what you're saying" and repeated his previous statement.

I did not make proof of the phone calls because I didn't think I would need it or know how to creat proof unless you go to 'the recorded phone call for training purposes' I'm finally out and away from this version of A1 healthcare/insurance if one could call it that. After headache and hang-ups and just flat out disrespect, personally It's obvious they're only in it for the money and nothing else. Just stay away if you want to keep your sanity and feel human.
