A1A Ocean Drive Transportation and Limo Used My Credit Card Without Authorization and Stole $50 Port Orange, Florida

I called this place to book a limo. The woman told me that to reserve the limo, she needed my credit card information. She told me she would NOT charge the card because the event was still a week away. Two days later I see that my bank account was overdrawn and I was charged several fees. I called her immediately to cancel the service because she charged my card without authorization. She fought with me the whole time. When I told her that what she is doing is wrong, she hung up the phone on me.

This limo place charged my card WITHOUT my permission to do so. I called and spoke with my bank and they said she immediately began running the card! I was lied to and stolen from. At this point, I'm out $110. $60 in bank fees and $50 in HER fees. She would not refund the full amount she charged without my consent. Luckily, my bank is fighting on my behalf. Also have been advised of several avenues I should take to seek monetary damages. Don't let this place do it to you. Go to the Better Business Bureau, find a service there based on rating. That's what I should have done.

Bottom line, the place stole $50 from me. I did NOT use their service. I did NOT receive a product. I made the mistake of simply trying to reserve a limo as a gift and it cost me a lot of money in the end. This place treated me very poorly and disrespectfully.

I made the reservation over the phone, not via her website. Not once in our conversation did she mention a $50 fee. Not once did she tell me I should go to the website to review and special or small print terms. This was a very deceitful transaction. Then she sends me an email saying that HER email represents MY signature?! Really? I take part of the blame, after all,  I made the mistake of calling such a place.

And beware!!!  Not only will you NOT get your money back if you need to cancel, you will be quoted one rate and end up paying something entirely different. My quote was originally $135. Next thing I know my bank account is less $165.

Much better places of business out there that know how to treat people right. Unfortunately, A1A Transportation and Limo is NOT one of them.
