I'll just start with Please, Please do not deal with this/these companies. I was contacted by Michael Green 888-100-4321, from A1 Cash Advance after i filled out an online application. After talking to him briefly I was give instructions to call Rick Thomas, GE Capital loan manager at 206-414-1948 and give him a code number.

I spoke with Mr Thomas who informed me that i had been approved for a loan up to $5000. I told him I was only looking for $3500. Mr Thomas explained the terms of the loan and that I'd need to purchase a Vanilla reloadit card for $172. I did buy the card and called him back. He told me that Vanilla reloadit would be calling me to verify the amount on the card as it was only a "show amount".

I received the call from Vanilla and did verify that it was in fact Vanilla. Everything checked out. I then called Mr Thomas back and he said that everything was good to go and the loan amount would be deposited into my account within the hour.

The $172 I put on the Vanilla card was still in fact there and I quickly put that amount onto a prepaid credit card I have. Everything appeared to be going well. I'd been ripped off by another company, so I was being very cautious.

Several hours wentby and no money was deposited into my account. beings that it was Friday and knowing how some banks work, I thought maybe it would post overnight.

Saturday came, no money. Sunday, no money. I called and was unable to reach Mr Thomas. They said he had a family emergancy. But was told by Michael Green that there was a problem and that the state of Indiana was charging an ?interpool? fee of $147. That they had tried to pay it, but interpool claimed only I could pay that fee.

Today, Tuesday, I received a call from Mr Thomas. Said that I would have to purchase another Vanilla card for $147 to pay the fees. As soon as the fee was paid the loan amount woul be in my account within 24hrs.

At this point I am terrified to put any more money out there. He said I only have until tomorrow at 7pm, otherwise my loan would no longer be available.

I have been scammed before and a fake lending company wired a fake wire of $997 into my account. They actually thought I would just run out and grab that money and buy them a reloadit card.

Needless to say, I did a little research. GE Capital does not lend money. They do not have a Mr Rick Thomas employeed. I have tried to call Michael Green at the 888-100-4321 and the call doesnt go through. These people seemed legitimate.

However, they keep asking for money. They claim they will reimburse me the fee amount when my loan is deposited. I simply can not afford to shell out another dollar.

I did all they asked and been patient. It's a run around. They want your very last dollar. I didn't use my credit card to pay for anythig, however they have my credit card information.

I talked to the BBB this morning. A1-CashAdvance is out of business, no longer in service. They were based in Bend, OR. Anyone contacting you from A1-CashAdvance is lying to you.

As for GE Capital, they had told me originally that there was an interpool amount that had to be paid. I have spoken with Mr. Rick Thomas about this several times. One conversation, he says that it's not interpool. But that it is insurance amount that has to be paid of $147. He even mentioned Geico.

I called Mr. Rich Thomas again. He claimed he hadn't said that. But that they had paid the insurance amount. What he or the company, GE Capital is saying, is that because of the state I live in, that there is an "interstate tax" that only the customer receiving the money has to pay. That 9 states now require this "interstate tax" to be paid and one by one each state is going to require this.

I contacted another lending company and asked a few questions regarding this "interstate tax". For a personal loan, there is NO requirement from anyone stating that this is to be paid.

These people are most certainly scammers.

It sure would be nice, a breath of fresh air, to find a legitimate lending company.
