AA American American Locksmith Or Locksmith On Time Incompetent locksmith service. Locks did not work after they re-keyed cylinders. Atlanta Georgia

On 4/18/08, AA American Locksmith quoted a price of $17.00 to re-key the locks in our home. On 4/19/08, AA American Locksmith arrived five hours late for the appointed time (with some woman who remained in the car and did not appear to be an employee It was very strange.) Upon arrival, the technician said the $20.00 locks would work better than the $17.00 locks. The technician re-keyed a total of eighteen locks at $20.00 per lock.

Minutes after the serviceman left, we discovered that the key made a three hundred and sixty degree (360) turn in two of the locks. Immediately, we call the office spoke with Karen and she had the serviceman return to our home. He fixed one lock and stated that he could only fix one because special parts were needed and he had only one part on his truck. He said he would order the parts, and ultimately return within the week to fix the lock. He never called or returned.

Before the serviceman could return to fix the first broken lock several more locks broke. Each time another lock broke we reported it and they just made empty promises to remedy the situation. After many calls and promises, on 6/10/08, I finally broke down and hired another locksmith to re-key the locks.

On 6/19/08, I called AA American and requested a full refund. Karen stated that the serviceman told her that he did returned to our home to fix the problem but that the locks could not be fixed. And that he told us they were irreparable. This is a blatant lie and I told Karen as much she said in her famous last words - I'll call you back. Of course she never called.

I have reported AA American Locksmith to the Federal Trade Commission, The Better Business Bureau, GA Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs, and anyone else I can think of.

Do not hire AA American Locksmith!!!
