This company did extensive damage to my engine while replacing my transmission. They will only except cash payment (should have been my first clue that they were untrustworthy) and would only use a "rebuilt" transmission (should have been my second clue).
They did the work and my wife picked the car up.
When she got home, I checked their work out and discovered that it was sloopy AND taht they broke a motor mount, O2 sensor, cotter pins, and the intake manifold (which they tried fixing by supergluing the peices back together).
When I returned the next day, the "foreman" said the mechanic had been fired that very day so I couldn't speak to the mechanic who worked on my car. They offered to give me $200 to fix over $2000 in damages.
I had to sue them in Civil court to settle this matter.

Issue settled in court

I had to sue AAA Discount Transmission in Civil court. They did show up for the initial court date so the judge awarded a judgement of $10,000. They appealed and hired a Hendersonville attorney to represent them in court.
The appeal was today, March 26, 2009........5 months after they damaged the vehicle and "repaired" the transmission. By the way, the vehicle is at the Ford dealership because the transmission burnt up and the damage to the engine is being replaced/repaired.
The judge awarded me $1200 to fix the car (with parts and labor I'm looking at about $3000 out-of-pocket expense to get the car back up and running properly) and they are still in the business of ripping people off.
