Recently purchased a car from this dealer. I like the car so far but HATED the experience. I would have much rather spend $1 to $2K more and purchased through a reputable dealer. I paid extra to have some additional maintenance repairs done and 1/2 of the items were not completed. End result...dead car in less than 24 hours after purchasing. I had the car towed and paid for the repairs that were "forgotten" about myself. Went back to dealership to get reimbursed and was treated SO disrespectful and talked to like a child. I have never been talked to like that during a business transaction where I am the customer. So degrading. (They didn't even end up refunding me all the $$ for the repairs, they
paid 1/2 and getting that much took 2 hours of negotiating.) Worst experience EVER buying a car.

If you do decide to deal with these guys, be prepared to get the car checked by at least 2 mechanics yourself...and deal
with a lot of headaches. Bottom line...don't waste your time. It feels shady when you pull up doesn't it? Go with your gut. They are. There are VERY good reasons why both business names (Alpha Carz and AAA-GA) have an "F" rating with the BBB. All these reviews don't lie.  I wish I would have listened. Do your homework.

Here's The Reason For The "F" 'Rating'.

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 14, 2011

The BBB is NOT a government agency. The business of the BBB is to sell these phoney ratings to anyone who is willing to pay the price. The BBB is a snake-in-the- grass SCAM. Understand...this does not diminish the poor way you were treated. They can get an "A" phoney rating if they join. Go to YouTube and search "BBB Scam" and you'll find out all about the consumer con-game called the BBB.

Agreed..

Completely agreed. Many lessons were learned.

I did have the repairs in writing BUT the dealer kept telling me how I should have brought the car back to them to have the repairs done as they could do them at dealer cost. I took the car to another service center close to my home since car was dead and had to be towed. The reasoning behind only giving me 1/2 was because they could have done the repairs cheaper. Had the car been running, that would have been what I would have done. My original post was to serve more as a warning. I got a good deal on the car but had to deal with a lot of hassle. At some point you have to decide how much is your time worth and how much crap do you want to deal with.

But again, completely agreed...I learned a lesson and will NOT be dealing with a dealership with them again. I hope my lesson can serve as advice to others who are considering.

So let me get this right.  You went there to buy a car, and not only did you buy the car but you decided to pay them EXTRA to do the repairs.  Apparently negotiations is not your strong point.

Why did it take two hours of negotiating to get 1/2 of that money back?  If you had what they were supposed to do in writting, it would have taken about 30 seconds.  Because you could go in saying pay me or I will sue you.  Of course if you didn't get what they were supposed to do in writing then they got you and you should be grateful that you got 1/2 the money back.

If you want to know why they are still in business, it is because of customers like yourself.
