On 3/17/06 we signed a contract with Chris Attardo of AAA Pool Spa of Nashua, NH to build us an inground swimming pool. We have paid him $16,152.00 to date, and he abandoned the job on 4/28/06, with our money and we do not have a pool.
On 06/06/06 of this year, he signed documents to register a new company under the name of Artistic Hardscapes, LLC out of Hudson, NH.
We tried to set up two appointments with him to discuss this situation, and both times he never showed up nor did he call us. He never returned our phone calls, but was very quick to be here to pick up checks for materials and excavation.
We have since filed a criminal complaint in Salem District Court and he will be arraigned on September 1, 2006 on various charges. He was never registered as a contractor in Massachusetts, and he gave us a false registration number when he signed for our building permit.
We would like to get our money back so that we can find a reputable pool company to finish the mess that has been left in our yard. Our children can no longer go into our yard because of the hazardous condition that Chris Attardo left it in.
It is in your best interest to steer clear of Chris Attardo and any company that he represents.
