AAA Vanlines worst moving experience of my lide Norcross Georgia

Contacted and hired aaa vanlins to move my belongings from MO to SC. Move was scheduled for the 17th of Sept. Movers without notification did not show up until the 18th. This caused a total of the loss of 3 days work combined for myself and a friend. Movers did not have a map or directions to aptment where belongings were located and had to be talked there by phone, no easy task when dealing with foreign speaking individuals ona a cell phone.

After arriving movers tried to get out of moving my riding lawnmower which was on my packing list. Movers called me and told me i must agree to have on hand an additional 300 dollars when they arrived or they would not load my truck.

My belongings were thrown into boxes without being packed or labled. Only thing wrapped in papper were kitchen dishes and glasses, which took up half a box. Everything else was shoved into boxes without reguard for location, size, breakability of items. This caused the breakage and damage to a number of items. Items are still missing and unacounted for. An antique table was handed to me in pieces, and not all pieces are accounted for, so repair is impossible. Large itmes such as wooden furniture is scatched and gouged. I have items that do not belong to me and items that did not make it here to me.

I have yet to hear from the company in reguard to my request for a damage form to record damage and loss. A promised investigation of the move has not been done and the owner of the company has not contacted me as promised to try to resolve this.

It was then and still remains the move from hell. I am still wondering if i will ever be able to resolve this mess.
