We bought a used 2012 Ram 1500 from Clos Auto Inc., 901 Lafayette Ave, Crawfordsville, IN 47933, (Now closed.) They sold me an extended warranty that was supposed to cover EVERYTHING, bumper to bumper from Wheelz Auto Warranty.
About a month later there is a knocking in my engine. My mechanic calls Wheez and they give him the okay to tear into the motor to find the problem. When he said it was a bent rod and there was a lot of internal damage, Wheelz said they would not pay for it because Ram offers a 100,000 drive train warranty and I would need to go through Ram.
Ram ran my serial number and found out that my truck was originally sold out of Canada and therefore would not honor the powertrain warranty because it crossed international borders. articles.chicagotribune.com/2002-06-02/travel/0206020080_1_chrysler-vehicles-warranty
So, I have two useless warranties and an out-of-buisness dealer. To top it off Wheelz won't refund my money. RIP OFF!!!
