My car was having transmission problems, so I drove it to AAMCO.  The told me it would be a couple of days before they could contact me.   They wanted more money than the car was worth, so I told them I wanted it back.  I had no idea that they had filed a CA lien on the car before they contacted me.  They send me a copy of the lien, but when I protested it CA stated I did not send it back in time.  That is because AAMCO held it too long.  They wanted $895.00 to put the car back together, I was not aware that they had taken it apart.  I filed a complaint to the CA automotive bureau, that is when they took the car to  Redland's  and fixed it to sell it.  They refused to work with me, they only wanted what they wanted, not anything that I wanted.   I tried to work with them, but they are evil and Greedy.  So, the took my car and sold it.

The store never told when the mechanic took out the transmission, he destroyed the engine.  The Engine had been replaced with NEW PARTS.   When I went to the place they had a tool  holding the engine in the car.  I took photos of this.  At this time I didn't know the engine had been damaged by the mechanic.  The Transmission was not at the store, I told them to put the trans in the trunk and put stabilizers on the engine and I would have it towed to someone who would work with me.

When I was fighting them about the car because they would not work with me, they only wanted what they wanted, they took the car from Cathedral City and took it to the other shop.  That is when they said a month later about the engine.

They still had the mean attitude to do what they wanted, they didn't care about me at all.  So, he totally fixed the car and sold it.  I don't know what he did with my personal stuff, he could have sent it down to Cathedral City, but he has no common sense, he is just greedy and only thinks about himself.

I understand and agree with the consumer. I never meet Larry however I had a bad experience at the Redlands shop and his attitude is very rude. He left me threaten messages. I still have them from last year. Bottom-line, Larry Adams unethical practices are ruthless and he will get caught soon and be seen before a judge to question his unethical practices. I will have my day in court. Mr. Adams and his ex-convict employees are all trained to rip off the customers by any means necessary. I feel a Class action should be implemented to stop crooks that hide behind doors and rob the middle class and poor.

Larry Adams - my experience

I have had the "pleasure" of dealing with Larry Adams.  He is just a rude, nasty man.  At first he will be very nice, but then if you don't do what he wants you to he gets loud, angry and belligerent.  I feel sorry for anyone who makes the mistake of dealing with this man.

You only wanted WHAT you

Your employee Rick is as strong as YOU!  There was a lack of truth that I approved of the work, I did not, due to lack of money.  They did a credit check on me, which is good, but I did not have a job at that time.  They did not tell me they were taking the car apart.  They only told me the quote of $3800.00 then that is when Rick started calling me and stated the price was $3300.00  I told him about 20 times I wanted my car back, don't put the transmission in, just put  on the struts.   Rick got nasty, so I took several photos and noticed the transmission was NOT THERE!  Just the car was, he would not work with us, we offered about $500.00 to do as I asked and was refused.  You knew when I did the complaint to the CA automotive bureau, that is when you made a choice to take the car to Redlands and fix it they way you wanted.  You never called me, I had to call you and that is when I found out what  YOU DID.  By then I knew I could not deal with you or Rick!   I tried to work with your employees but due to your policy, it was impossible.  You never called me, you really would have found out what was going on.  Also the state said since they were doing an investigation I could not go there any more.  They were hung up, with lots of problems with other people who had problems.

I talked to other repair places and they only wanted one third the price you wanted to repair the car.

The only reason I can't get my stuff that was in the car, because I have nothing to drive right now.  That is because you and your employees refused to work with me.

So, now how can I shop for food, or help my friend when he needs to go to the doctor, NO CAR!  I had the Engine fixed and the mechanic worked well with me, but YOU, no only what YOU WANTED.

So, you got a car by deception with new tires, new engine, new battery, new fuel pump, new water pump, etc.
