On august 13th 2017 Abe Croney from Evergreen Construction and Remodels and his partner Aaron Larson from Larson Tower LLC stole 3 homes that belong to families that were not rightfully theirs.

There was a tiny home company that both Abe Croney from Evergreen Construction and Aaron Larson from Larson Tower LLC did an investment deal to help startup a tiny home business. For some reason, the tiny home business was not doing well, but they made a deal to pay back Abe Croney and Aaron Larson over $30,000 and over $80,000 of additional collateral to help pay off the loan. Aaron Larson and Abe Croney lended this company $80,000 and received back $110,000 in cash and collateral.

For some reason this was not enough for these crooks. So on August 13th 2017, the owner of this tiny house company left for church and Abe Croney and Aaron Larson look over $100,000 of additional collateral out of the yard without any court order or anything. Now they have over $210,000 of cash and collateral that they never should have taken. Police reports have been made and over 5 helpless families are left homeless because these two criminals decide to take what they want, even though they had more than their principle back from their so called investment with this tiny home company.

They never did a court order to take the collateral, the owner said that they randomly came both times and took what they wanted.

These two dangerous men, Abe Croney from Evergreen Construction and Aaron Larson from Larson Towers LLC have done a very serious criminal act by not abiding by legal government laws to repossess these homes in court, but decide to illegally take action against this poor company.

I am one of those victims of this tragedy and we were all against the owner of this tiny house company that was forced to go bankrupt because of this. We now understand who truly ruined these families lives and left many homeless because two foolish criminals Abe Croney and Aaron Larson decide to take advantage of a poor young man that builds tiny homes for families and these criminals decide to take what they want.

I hope all who read this will stay away from Abe Croney at Evergreen Construction and Remodel and Aaron Larson from Larson Towers.

If you ever plan on doing business with these two criminals when it comes to investing or construction, it is highly recommended to look for someone else who is more trustworthy. We hope the victims of this tragedy will be compensated for this and will look forward to seeing these two men brought to justice and put behind bars.

First let me tell you how I found out about this report. My 12 year old daughter lives in another state with her mother. I called her tonight to set up travel plans for Xmas. She informed me that she googled my name and read that im a bad person that kicks people out of their homes. She told me she doesn't want to come here at all for Xmas because of this. Kids obviously believe everything on the internet must be true. Now on to the rebuttal. I am one of the partners that invested money into Mike Teveters tiny home company named "upper valley tiny homes" based out of American Fork Utah. My partner and l loaned 80k dollars to Upper valley tiny homes in October 2016. The contract (written by Mike Teveter of Upper valley tiny homes) said that the company would pay us a monthly payment starting Nov 1st and paying us back in full 10 months later. The total to be repaid with interest was roughly 92k dollars. In addition to that money it was agreed and written in the contract that Upper valley tiny homes would build my partner and I a tiny home and they would cover all costs except materials that would be paid for by us.

Now, November 1st comes along and we can't reach Mike Teveter or Upper valley tiny homes. Finally on the 15th day we reach him and he made a payment of roughly 9500 dollars. Dec 1st 2016, The 2nd payment is now due. Mike mails my partner and I 2 checks for a total of 9000 dollars. BOTH checks bounced. We then spent the next 2 months trying to reach mike and keep in mind The January payment date has come and gone and no payments made since November. We tried 2 times a day to reach him but never answered so in late Jan 2017 I drove to the office of Upper valley tiny homes and found Mr Teveter. He had a million excuses and appolagize. He wrote us two more checks totaling aprox 9000 dollars but asked that we hold them a week. I took the checks but asked if he had any collateral (as described in the contract) that we could hold till he became current on payments because at that moment he was approx 20k in arrears. He agreed to let us take a partially finished 32ft tiny home along with the title.

A week has passed and the checks are supposed to be ready to clear so we put them in the bank and they both bounced again. For the next several weeks we tried several times a day to reach Mike and he wouldn't answer texts, calls or emails. We started contacting the bank the checks were written on daily and asking if the checks would clear. And one day they told me he had enough to cover 3 of the 4 checks written so I ran down and cashed them. Within an hour I received a nasty message about how im ruining his business etc. When I replied he shut off and never responded. My partner and I tried every day to reach home. We even told him if he would just be honest with us and communicate that we would be happy to work with him. He Never responded. In April 2017 we decided to go to the shop he had and it was empty. He had moved and never told us.

Another breach of the contract he wrote. Month or more later we were able to locate him building the tiny homes in his back yard. Keep in mind he still hadn't made any other payments to us and had given us less than a quarter of the agreed upon dollar amount nor had he built us a tiny home. We offered to keep the unfinished tiny home we were storing as collateral as our own towards payment but he adamantly denied. One day we received a text from him. He asked us to contact his attourney (Bryan Dexter) to work this out. We obviously called him right away and set up an appointment to meet at the attorneys office with mike. We all showed up. As we sat in the office waiting for Mr Dexter, Mike told my partner and I that he was so sorry and that he would make it right to us. Again we were truing to show kindness to mike and told him we would work with him as long as he would communicate. The meeting really didn't do much more than allow us to hear more empty promises. After the meeting we still hadn't received any payments and we were getting impatient as we had heard rumors that Mike was filling bankruptcy. We gave all the info to our lawyer and he helped us do all the needed paperwork to start the reposition.

By law we had to notify him by mail and text that we needed payment or in 48 hours we would repo. We did all of this and no reply still. We called the local police and were informed of our rights to go on his property and remove our collateral in a peaceful way. We were aware that Mike went to church so we removed the 3 trailers from his yard peacefully. The next day we received a call from a man named Kyle. He told us he was another investor to Upper valley tiny homes. He informed us that the 3 trailers we took belonged to him. We returned one of the trailers to him and purchased the other two directly from Kyle. So actually none of the trailers or items we took belong to mike or was our collateral.

To this day we still have all the trailers. They are all unfinished and unlivable at anytime. We were called by the Lindon city police department. We were told that Mike Teveter (owner of Upper valley tiny homes) was arrested on suspected fraud charges. Last week i received a call from the investigator again for more info and he informed us a family in California had paid in full for a home that they never recieved and that the amount of laws that Mike broke was numerous. It was implied that he was facing some serious felony charges. Now I assume that this original report was written by Mike Teveter of Upper valley tiny homes or by one of the buyers that has talk to mike and believes that were the bad guys. If you are a buyer then please call me at 8017076136. I would be more than happy to show you all the paperwork and proof of all I've said in this repbuttal. I still have all the homes while we try to figure this mess out. So to be clear, we never received payment in full as was said in the report. Also we didn't leave anyone homeless as these trailers were and are still unfinished and never lived in. They don't have doors. Everything written in the report was a lie. Again if you are a victim of this man or Upper valley tiny homes please contact me and we can try to work this mess out. Abe Croney
