AARON'S RENTAL Unauthorized credit card transaction and doesn't understand that I want the funds returned regardless of my account being current. PROVIDENCE Rhode Island

Aarons' made an unauthorized transaction on my credit card. When i called Aaron's to complain the transaction was voided. I waited the necessary 5 business days to see if the funds were returned to my account, they were not. I then called Aaron's again to find out why the funds were not in my account the clerk said she voided the refund. The agreement was that once the funds were retured to my account I would then physically come in with a payment.

I then said that if the funds were not in my account by the time i was to come in with the payment I would not pay. I have talked to several people who then said to wait and the funds should be in. I called on March 16, and was told that the transaction was voided, I then spoke to a manager who went on to say why return the funds when your account is now current.

I them mentioned to the manager that what he does not understand is that was my money and I did not give permission for it to be taken. So what if my account is current, I wanted my money returned because I felt violated and and then I will make an official payment by coming into the store. The manager again went on to say it does not make any sense to come return the funds and then to come in with a payment.

What the manager doesn't understand is that there are people like myself who budget themselves and think that places like aaron's would understand customers situations apparently not, they will get there money anyway and anyhow. You better believe this is the last time I deal with anything name Aaron.
