We have been renting from this company for 4 months.

My girlfriend is pregnant,,and got put on bedrest this past week,,unable to keep the merchandise,,because of financial reasons,,we called them to come pick up the merchandise.

When my girlfriend called them,,at 3:00pm today,,they said they would pick it up by 7:00pm.

At 5:00pm the store manager called to say they could not pick it up until wednesday,,she told them that it was not possible because we are being loaned some furniture tomorrow morning,,THE MANAGER "JEREMY" STARTED YELLING AT HER,,,TOLD HER THAT IT WASNT HIS PROBLEM,,AND THAT IT WASNT GOING TO BE PICKED UP TODAY!!

When she told him that we would just set it outside,,he continued to yell and raise his voice at her,,,then he said they would be here today,,and HUNG UP ON HER!!!!

IF THIS IS THE WAY THEY TREAT ALL THEIR CUSTOMERS,,THEN I BELIEVE PEOPLE SHOULD AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS,,,I HAVE RENTED OFF OF RENT-A-CENTER AND WAS ALWAYS TREATED WITH RESPECT!!!

I'm sorry for the generalizations about the number of franchise stores. I have lived in most of the eastern states, and every location of Aarons that I have encountered has been a franchise. I will check my facts more carefully in the future. But, seriously, Aarons used to be the Cadillac of RTO. Now, they are quite the opposite.

Atlanta guy.....please get your facts straight first before u respond. There are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more corporate stores for Aarons than franchise. Second, the GM that u guys were dealing with should have helped u guys out before thinking about returning ur product. We have a few things we can do to help u to maintain and acquire ownership of ur product. I am sorry if that is how "franchise" stores treat u. A corporate store wouldn't be that sulky with u. I guess rent a center is ok but they are just expensive. Good luck to u guys!!!!

How true. Since the majority of Aaron's stores are franchises, they have no one to answer to. They can pretty much do as they want with no repercussions. Unfortunately, this is going to be their downfall, as I have heard nothing but bad things about Aaron's for quite some time now.
