Ab Energizer ripoff, fraudulent billing Van Nuys California

My name is Richard Wendell. In Oct 2001 I order the abenergizer from a tv ad. They charged my account for the ab belt and 4 energizers in Dec 2001.

In Nov 2001 I lost my job. So in Dec, just after they debited my account, I contacted the company. I needed to cancel my order. I was told ok, but it would take 30 to 60 days to refund my money.

In Jan 2002, I received a surprise. The company did not refund my money but sent the product out anyway. Well, only part of it. Even though I paid for the additional power units, I only recieved the basic 2 power units.

I contacted them again. They told me I could send back the recieved package, at my expense and they would refund my money. And again, I was told it would take 30-60 days. I said, since you didn't follow my request in Dec, just refund me the difference in what I didn't recieve. Still, 30-60 days.

Feburary came and went, March came and went. No refund. I tried calling the refund department directly and only recieved an voice recording giving me an email address to write to.

I wrote to that address. It came back to me as "no such address." I called again. Like before, I called the ordering phone number. They answer that. They again took my information and said they would email the department with my infomration.

It is now Oct 2002. Care to guess? You got it, haven't heard a word from them.
