I had windows replaced in my home. The ABC Seamless company representative was in Great Falls and has since taken all the records and moved to BILLINGS, MT.
The original work was sloppy and shoddy. ABC Seamless (Great Falls) had sent two people back to repair and fix the problems. Later the window sides on the sliders began to tear up the side. This was due to a flaw on the sliders side panel. I did have four of these windows replaced and still am trying to get the next two replaced. These two windows have the same problems. I have called ABC Seamless in BILLINGS, MT (MORE THAN I CARE TO ADMIT) and as of this date, Sep 27, 2004, have yet to receive satisfaction on the repair of the final two windows.
The windows are supposed to be lifetime guaranteed. However, getting ABC Seamless to cooporate is another story.
I also contacted the main office in ND, who tells me that they do not do windows, however, WINDOWS is clearly a part of their advertisement on the following web address: http://www.abcseamless.com/.
If I cannot get this situation solved, I will be forced to seek legal action.

Homeowners have the responsibility to follow the terms of the warranty. Many times they lose them or do not follow through and in an attempt to cover up their responsibilities they blame and smear companies and or individual names.
The information is clear and the procedure have been followed by others in the past 30 years. As a reminder the windows were not built by ABC Seamless and failures are to be handled by the manufacturer.
It seems that many times people are quick to make negative remarks and not follow the procedures to get things done. They choose the route of bullying and threating. It would take less time and energy to do what all Americans are use to doing when warranty items occur. File the issue with the appropriate company that has the ability and duty to service the warranty.
In this case ABC Seamless went over and above and did additional work outside the warranty, clearly the responsibility of the window manufacturer, to try to please the customer only to be blamed for something ABC Seamless had no control over.
