We have always had problems with this company but our most recent is in the sale of our home. We sold our home and bought another and in dealing with the closing attorney he had trouble getting a pay off amount from Amro which delayed closing. When he finally got it he told us it was about $1500 more than it should have been because they claimed that we hadn't made a payment from April to August. We have all the proof that we did make these payments (ie; bank statements, check stubs, even Amro statements!!!!).

I contacted the company and got transfered around to different departments until I finally got hung up on. Each time we contact them it's the same thing. When we reach an actual person and ask for a supervisor we get voicemail and of coarse never get a return call. Our attorney told us to stay consistant and keep calling, that it will get resolved because we have all of the proof, it's just a matter of time.

This is a very crooked company who is very greedy and dishonest. If people keep speaking out maybe we can make a difference so this will not happen to others. they should not be allowed to rip people off!

LaSalle has upgraded?? their system

AUTHOR: Dennis - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, November 05, 2004

They have metioned Calling. but have they actually gone in and talked to a branch manager at the closest Local Branch ?? Due to the fact that the system has been upgraded there are many complaints by the employees themselves. paticularly in Customer service for LaSalle.

The person reporting also State that thy have proof of statements by LaSalle.

Take what you have to the Local branch office or the local branch office closest to you.

1 Try to remain Calm The person you have to deal with is NOT responsible for the screwed up system
They are the ones that HAVE TO WORK WITH YOU to resolve the matter.

2. Have your proof with you. If you wish make copies to keep for yourself. cooperate with the person who is trying to resolve the issue.

3. This is the start of the 21st century REMEBER THIS. T err is Human to realy F.U you need a computer. In this case about 1,000 of them.

so since it is a 21st century screw up try a 20th century proceedure to correct it. Call the Local branch make an apointment with the loan officer and/or the branch manager. Sit down calmly show them what you have. And then let them do their jobs to correct it.
