The catch was for him to give iPhone 8 to his wife and for me to give him the money for it which much less than the value of a total of 6 jackets for myself, wife and family. Luckily, I didn't fall for it. Milano purportedly. Scam attempt was in Toronto.

Scarborough, Ontario at Kennedy Commons.  While alighting my vehicle, this Italian sounding guy asked for directions to Pearson airport which I gave.  He asked how long it would take to get there.  I asked what time his flight was.  He then made small talk.  Said he just had a show and was bringing back leather jackets back to Italy.  Asked what my size was and then showed me various jackets that really looked nice.  He said he had too much to bring home to Italy and would be taxed 22% for and would not have enough money to buy his wife a gift.  Offered to give me 6 leather jackets for CAD 1,250.00.  Realized it was a scam and found a way to say sorry nicely.  Beware of guy driving s white Chrysler Jeep purportedly from a company A. C Collezioni Milano named Michele A.  (He didn't give a family name).  He is about mid 40's to early 50;s in age, 68-69 inches in height, thin with greyish hair, glasses and dresses well.  His card has the following details:
