Academy advertised a clearance sale on sandals. I went online and found the sandals I wanted and order several pair. The site would only let me order pairs in sizes they supposedly had inventory. I completed the check out process and received an email from Academy confirming my order.

Two days after completing my order, Academy sent me an email cancelling my order. The email said it was being cancelled because "I had cancelled it or the item is no longer in stock". Now, their online site will not allow you to order an item that does not show in their inventory.

This has happened to me twice now. My experience is Academy advertises inticing low prices on items and then is unable to fill the order in hopes that you will switch to an item that is not on sale.
