I received the following email today (01/21/09) from the Salt Lake City, Utah Better Business in response to my continuing complaint/report against this rip-off company:
01/16/2009 BB EMAIL Forward Consumer Rebuttal to Business
01/19/2009 WEB BBB RECEIVED RESPONSE FROM BUSINESS RE: REBUTTAL : It was refunded 01/15/08 on card ending in 1030. It takes up to 48 hours to post.

"The $89.31 refund (supposedly issued 12/11/2008) has been credited to my account on 01/21/09. However the company still owes me a $17.02 refund for unsolicited charges ($8.51-PriceLimbo.com- 12/01/08 and $8.51-PriceLimbo.com-12/31/08 for a total of $17.02. I want ALL of my money refunded. A partial refund is NOT acceptable. Please take the time to review the consumer website www.ripoffreport.com and type "Acai Berry" in the search window. I am not the only person that has been ripped off by this scam company. I want ALL of my money back."

I too am a consumer who was taken by this unethical 'company'. I have a couple of suggestions.
1. Call your bank or credit card company to file a complaint of an unauthorised transaction. It needs to be on file for dispute purposes and to avoid having to pay any credit card interest on the disputed transaction. Consider cancelling the credit card/chequing card you used with this company as they sell your credit card/chequing card information to other parties. Please note: cancelling your card does not resolve the dispute, but stops any other 3rd party purchases, you will still need to resolve the transaction with your Bank / Credit Card company.
2. Secondly, if you receive any merchandise, send it back immediately. Otherwise, if you accept the goods, you must pay the disputed amount. Call the number listed on your credit card statement; you will reach a 3rd party Call Center - Customer Service. When you call them, do not give in when they tell you a) they won't give you your money back or b) they will give you 1/2 back. Threaten (in a nice way) to report them to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the Attorney General. I did this and they reimbursed my entire amount back. Don't stop there, go to the website listed in #3 and file a complaint with the Utah Attorney Generals office (Division of Consumer Protection). Considering the economic state of the US, not one of us needs to make this unethical, unscrupulous person any more wealthy. Don't forget file a complaint.
3. File a complaint with the Utah Attorney Generals office (Division of Consumer Protection) where this company is registered. Do a search of the BBB for Crush LLC.
