I ordered a free trial this company for $4.95, only to learn that not only did they charge my account $4.95 but also $59.95 the autopay amount after the 14 day trial.
When I went to the live chat, they kept denying that they charged this amount to my account, even when I added the copy and paste of the deduction. I first spoke with Neena...After several requests she finally gave me to the supervisor, Elisse who was no better.
I saved the online chat conversation for my bank as proof that I did not authorize the charges. Here are excerpts from the actual conversation
"Elissa: I would like to inform you that we have charged you $4.95 for shipping and handling now.
Elissa: $59.95 is pending charge on your account you will be charged $59.95 after completion of 14 days trial.
Elissa: A pre-authorization is a temporary hold of a specific amount of the available balance on a credit / debit card. The pre-authorization is NOT a charge and you are not responsible for paying for it.
you: Elissa...if this is a trial, then you should not be charging my account any oher amount than the $4.95 trial amount, not authorizing or holding $59.95"
I told them their business practices were deceptive...They tried to say that I authorized the additional charge. The receipt I have is for $4.95 but they went in and debited the $59.95 from my account as well. I am disputing this with my bank.
When I told them to cancel my order altogether and not send the pills. They said they couldn't do that. I said the order has not been shipped it's 2 a.m. in the morning...
I also advised that I was going to block any charges from their company regardless of the amount.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. This is why I do no like Trial Offers. They are deceptive...
I am going to have to cancel my card, and then have my bank send another card. That means that I have to contact all of my vendors who I have auto pay on...and change that information.
