Acai Max Berry Shop Unauthorized Charging to Credit Card Boca Raton Florida

I followed a link from my AOL account for a Acai Berry product. It was an offer to receive a free bottle of Acai Berry capsules. Just pay $5.95 for shipping. I received my free bottle. A short time later I received a second bottle and an invoice for $94.57. I did not want the product and called for return instructions.

I received an "RMA" # and a verbal confirmation of cancellation. I sent back the product and all was forgotten until I received my Chase Visa bill. The Acai Max Berry Shop had billed and received the original $94.57 I cancelled earlier that month. I called the company several times and was never able to resolve the matter.

Got the run around then later the numbers were not in service. I called Chase to dispute the charge and they immediately knew of the problem based on dozens of others who called about this company. Chase was great and is offering to clear up the mess and refund me my charge.

This company is a scam at best and needs to be stopped. Although most of the banks and credit card companies make good on getting you your money back, Max Berry Shop still got the cash. Most of the credit card companies will take the loss to keep you as a customer. So the big picture is those jerks got away with stealing money regardless of who paid the bill in the end.
