I ordered Acai Nutraburst for assistance in weight loss and increased energy levels. It was a "free trial" pay shipping only. I looked carefully for any notice of automatic shipments after the initial trial and found none. But they did automatically ship another bottle for $74.94. There was no mention of price anywhere on the ad, either.
When I called to cancel and arrange return, I was told it was my responsibility as the consumer to look up their website and read the Terms and Conditions, which note the automatic shipment and the costs AND NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS under any circumstances whatsoever. This way they get nearly $80 out of everyone before they even realize what is going on. You cannot speak to a "supervisor" or get an address to which you can write an appeal or complaint.
