We purchased a hardwood floor from Accent Hardwood Flooring in Middle Island NY 11953. The salesman indicated that we were buying the last of 20 boxes in their warehouse of Shaw (manufacturer), 3.25 width, Brazilian Cherry flooring with UV protection and 7 coats of urethane. We had our installer pickup the flooring that was put aside for us at the vendors location. After the installer finished the floor we found out the flooring was not the product we paid for. It was nature industries (manufacturer) ,3.75 Brazilian Cherry with no UV protection and only 6 urethane coats. My wife contacted the salesman and he indicated that he substituted this product without our knowledge. The substitute flooring sells for at least $4 per square foot less than the Shaw flooring. The owner, Larry Kogel has not returned my calls.

Owner called. Indicated he gave me a better floor, although it still was without my knowledge. My research into the product does not support this and it is not the floor i would have selected. Live and learn.
