Access Travel Network They offered to rent 8 weeks of our timeshares, cost us $1192.00 then nothing. Orlando, Florida

Access Travel Network contacted my husband over the phone, said we had 8 weeks banked with RCI and they could rent them for us for the amount of $149/week or $1192 total, which had to be paid up-front. All transactions were performed via telephone, even credit card charging. 

They said the return would be $12,000 - $14,000 for the 8 weeks of rentals. This was February 22, 2013. They said the rentals would be paid to us within 90 days. It has now been 8 months and we have heard NOTHING from them and when I call, I get their voice mail and of course, no one calls me back.

We have been scammed to the tune of almost $8000 by someone saying they were with Access Travel and that we had to pay taxes and property fees up front in order to receive $14,400 for our rentals. These people had all our information - contract number, credit card information, resort info and everything that we thought made them legit then - nothing, except the loss of $8000.

Again someone called today, August 29, 2013 - from the Dominican Republic - all with the same contract, credit & resort info saying we again will receive $14,000 for our rentals but we had to pay money up front for fees & taxes. Tried to call Access Travel and again, no response, only voice message.

We have our local police department working on the scam but they too have nothing and we can't get our money back from anyone.
