Acclaro Financial Services Carolyn Thorn Loan Scam Internet

I applied for a loan through Acclaro Financial Services and was approved for a $5,000 loan.  I contacted the company and the person assisting me was Carolyn Thorn.  She processed the paperwork and told me  the interest rate would be 6% and the monthly payment of $117.00, however because of my credit score they would either need me to provide a co-signer with a credit score of 630 or higher or purchase loan insurance in the amount of $590.00

I had a co-signer, however I was told their credit score wasn't good enough so that I could still purchase the insurance and that I would need to purchase a MoneyPak card for the insurance.

I purchased the MoneyPak and provided the "loan officer" the number.   I was guaranteed the money would be in my account within 2 business days.  I receive an e-mail from the loan officer stating the money was scheduled to be in my account by noon.  Noon came and went and no money.  I contacted the loan officer and she explained that they took a closer look at my credit and that I would either need to find another co-signer or purchase the larger insurance package for 1000+ dollars.   I explained that I had no other co-signer and didn't have an additional 500.00 to pay for the higher insurance.   I then requested a refund.   I was told that my refund would be processed and that she'd put a rush on it. 

The next morning I received an e-mail stating the refund had been processed and I'd be receiving it within 3 days.  A week has no passed and no refund.  I've tried contacting the "loan officer' and have been unable to get her to answer the phone or reply to my e-mail.

This is a very clever scam ... Don't fall for it ... I'm now out $590.00 and no way to get it back.
