Accurate Auto Insurance Lied, neglected, didn't return repeated messages, said one thing and did something different Bridgeview Illinois

 I made the mistake of getting my car insured through an agency called Accurate Auto Insurance. I had no problems with them as long as the bill was paid. Then, my car was hit and run. I followed protocol and filed a claim with them. I'm very thankful that I had full coverage. First off, I find out that one company covers the liability and a different one covers the collision. Then, I find out that my rental reimbursement only covers $20.00 per day and I'd have to pay for the rental until they reimburse me. After having the car towed to the body shop of their choice, the adjuster acted like they had all the time in the world to get the estimate. Every time I would leave her a message, she would not return any of them. Finally, after about 2 weeks, she calls to tell me that it's being deemed a total loss and offers me a settlement that made me wanna laugh or cry. So, I filed a complaint with the IL Dept. Of Insurance. They made me feel so much more comfortable, they were very courteous and assured me that they would fight to get me the settlement that I deserved. Accurate Auto Insurance came up with a bunch of phony prior unrelated damage to the car that wasn't even there. After a couple weeks, the adjuster from Accurate who was positive that her offer was final called me with a much better offer. After speaking with the Dept. Of Insurance, I decided to sign off on the second much larger offer that was the right amount. Also, every time I left the adjuster at Accurate Auto Insurance a message, she never, ever once returned my calls. Avoid buying insurance through Accurate Auto Insurance like the plague!
