Accurate Pavers and Landscaping Accurate They put down dead, fungus ridden sod while I was away after taking my checks Apopka Florida

On August 23rd 2018 I hired Rodney the owner of Accurate Pavers and Landscaping after finding him on a publication where several companies advertise their services to recent home buyers. Rodney at first comes on as a reputable and trustworthy individual. He quoted me a good price for landscaping and resod the lawn.

I paid him two checks of $2700 and $1400 to do the job with a balance of $1400 to be paid upon completion. He was several days off from completion due to rain according to him and took my neighbors job and worked on both homes at the same time. He put dead sod on my lawn and stated it was just a bit dry even though supposedly it rained.

I was out of the country during the job and he refused to tell me that the job was partially done. i left the check with my girlfriend who was not familiar with the situation and paid him after he demanded the check and that I had authorized it. Had I had seen the dead grass he planted I would have never paid him.

My girlfriend called me to let me know that she was coerced by him to be paid but when she inspected the lawn afterwards she noticed all the dead spots in the yard. By this time I called him to ask for the reason as to why the lawn was in such bad shape and he informed me that in a few days with water it will be all great and green.

A month has gone by and the yard is still dead and with fungus which it had from the beginning according to our lawn treatment company that Rodney recommended. I have been a victim of Rodney’s and he will not rectify the situation even though he gave me a 100 percent guarantee for 30 days in writing.

Now I am faced to replace the lawn again and spend more funds to rectify the job. Do not do business with Rodney or Accurate Pavers. They will lie to your face and plant dead grass and not answer texts or calls.
