While I was driving in my 2011 Chevy equinox the battery over heated and opened up at the seams. The acid sprayed under the hood. If it was not for the sulfur like odor I wouldn't of know anything was wrong. My husband burnt his finger tips trying to open the hood. Luckily the acid missed his face. GM new there was a problem with this battery but continues to use them in their cars. GM and AC delco both deny any responsibility. Companies need to be held responsible for their products.
