AC Delco I have a 2002 GMC Pickup truck 4x4. I was stocked with the Acdelco battery. After 3.5 years the battery failed. Bad cell they said. I had it replaced with a similar battery from Ac delco for $125.00 including service. This new battery failed 16 months later. It went dead and would not take a charge. Once again replacing the second one too! This is now my third battery in 5 years and 2 months. Big Rapids Michigan

Purchased GMC pickup in 2002 it came with standard stock battery. After 3.5 years the battery suddenly died. It would not jump or take a charge. The battery was then replaced with a similar/same battery for $125.00. After 16 months the battery went dead again. The first battery was deemed a bad cell. The second battery would not take a charge. The second battery was replaced free of charge to a third battery. It is clear to me that something is defective about this line of batteries. There was also corrosion found and cleaned off the connections both times. All three times this battery was dealer standard stock part AC Delco battery 650 CCA. I have gone through three batteries in 5 years and 2 months I think this is a little accessive for a battery that boast a 5 year life span.

In the past I have had Mopar or Diehard batteries and have gotten in access of five years useage from them. Don't know what AC Delco problem is?
