ACE Kitchens AKA Mei Kitchens Failed to honor warranty for damaged cabinets Pompano Beach, Florida

We purchased MEI kitchen cabinets for our kitchen and also used some of the same for our bathrooms and laundry room. Everything was installed in our newly constructed house about 2 weeks before we moved in. Within less than a year the cabinets start chipping and cracking. We had a warranty that we purchased at the time when we placed the order. We contacted customer service and complained of the cracks on the cabinet doors. The customer service told us to take pictures of everything and send it to them, which we did. They made us list all the cabinets that had cracks and were chipped and we did. We completed\e questionnaires that they sent us regarding the use and the cleaning routine of the cabinets, which we did. Then we did not hear anything from them so we called to inquire. They told us that in order for them to do something they had to assess the problem and that required us to remove all the damaged cabinets and send it to them so they can determine if they will replace them or not. Ridiculous! We spoke to a manager who told us that there is nothing that they will do, unless we send the cabinets in. He said that he will do us a “favor” and send us a can of paint so we can paint over the cracks. Really? We never got the paint from the company and they never honored the warranty on the product. We have been in the house for about 3 years now and the cabinets look terrible and have cracks everywhere. We are eventually going to replace them. Whatever you do, do not buy from this company. The initial price is great compared to other competitors, but not if you are going to replace them within 3 years.  These are cheaply made cabinets that look good on pictures but do not last. Purchasing warranty on the product is a rip-off because Mei Kitchens or ACE kitchens will never honor it.
