I'm sorry to say the nighmare they call Acqua Flamingos in Nuevo Vallarta continues... Any one who buys pre-construction in Mexico is crazy when there are greedy, evil developers like Eduardo Vanencia that the Mexican government lets take advatage of both Mexican and international investors.
The developer, Eduardo Valencia, in my opinion, has a severe bi-polar disorder and will go out of his way to lock owners out of the Acqua Flamingo property who he perceives have crossed him. So do not communicate with him directly! Even though many owners have made all their payments, and even paid all the surprise penalties they were presented with, they are still black listed and can not gain access.
Eduardo Valencia has extorted thousands of dollars for various extra things that were not included in our purchase agreement. If we did not pay these, and sign the delivery contract, he would not let us take possession of the property we purchased.
The condo was delivered with many things unfinished, missing, and sub-standard. There continues to be daily surprises such as having to pay for things like the installation of our own electical meter in order to have electricity in our unit. No place for garbage disposal, etc. etc. etc.
Meanwhile, we pay monthly association fees and there is no accounting for how he uses the money. He has not filed the Condo Regime which is needed for us to get our titles to the property we purchased and to form our own home owners association.
However, why I am writing this is to inform the many others, who are in the same, or similar situation, we have formed a Yahoo Group called 'acquaowners' that you may join to share information and get support. Go to Yahoo! Groups, and search for acquaowners.
