We we excited to get solar panels to save money! Think again! Acro Energy comes out as the sales reps for Sunrun Solar Leasing program. Acro said we would save $100 a month and even get a kick back from Edison because we would produce so much energy that Edison would buy back the power they used from us being on their Grid. Acro said we would pay $1 a month to the grid and they would build our system to produce more power than we were using so that we have room to grow.

Well, let me fill you in. The $1 a month to be on Edisons grid and receiving a check from them was all a lie. We owe them over $1500 as of today, which averages out $100 a month to be on the gird, placing us back where we were, but worse, who wants to shell out a $1500 check when I pay Sunrun Solar every month. Plus, come to find out, they built our system at 65% percent of what we were using! We did not understand all the math and lingo in the paper work, so we took the sales reps word when he explained that we would produce more energy than we would need. He lied.

Not to mention, you should see how awful our solar panels look! They are embarrassing, but I was willing to sacrifice since I was suppose to be saving money, right? Wrong. I have since searched the internet and have found so many complaints of the same. I have also since found out that if you live in California, the tear rate is different here and it's really hard to save money with solar for your electricity. Another fraud on their account.

Beware, do not use Sunrun or talk to anyone from Acro Energy. They also take the incentive money as well, you do not get it! So talk about a fraud type scam. There will be a lot of complaints popping up in the next year when all these customers find out they were lied to, it's already happening. I even found lawyers starting class actions suites! There is more fraud to this story, but thought it best to keep it as short as possible, giving you the highlights! Do not use SUNRUN SOLOAR!

They are a rip off and California customers are about to catch up to them. And do not talk to ACRO ENERGY sales reps. Sunrun needs to be responsible for the lies told by Acro Energy as it fall back on them. All lies! Now I have to go through the hassle of getting these ugly solar panels off my roof and cutting ties with Sunrun. But I can see that they will do everything they can to pull the old contract thing on us, which was so deceiving. We would never think our contract was giving us 65% of what we used before. How would that make since?

No one would ever go for that deal. Those sales reps are good. Every time we pointed something out, they would say, oh no, that means something else, you are actually going to create so much power that you will get nice checks back from Edison. Oh, trust me, they are good at their craft of fraud! There are others on this web site as well complaining about the same thing, but maybe titled under a different heading. Look for them!
